Below you can watch an edited video of one of Zander’s online lessons with an adult student from Italy. This is an example of a conversational, general English lesson. Note how Zander gets the student to talk in English by using topics and examples that are familiar and of interest to this particular student.

In the next class, we see another example of a conversational English class. Many adult students prefer classes that will help them improve their speaking but it is important that you, as the teacher, structure and guide the lesson to help the student reach their goals. Notice how Zander uses the student’s interests to guide him to the new vocabulary and practice it.
