Program Description
This 30-hour CPD course is designed for ESL/EFL teachers who want to confidently teach Business English to professionals, executives, and corporate learners. The course focuses on the practical skills required to design and deliver needs-driven, task-based Business English lessons, particularly in online and 1-to-1 teaching contexts. Teachers learn how to act as facilitators, supporting learners in expressing their professional expertise accurately and appropriately in English rather than teaching business concepts themselves.
Overview
By the end of this course, participants will be able to conduct effective needs analyses, design tailored Business English courses, and deliver learner-centred lessons that reflect real workplace communication. Teachers will be able to teach key business communication skills, manage intercultural issues, balance accuracy with fluency, assess learner progress, and integrate AI tools responsibly into Business English lesson planning and delivery.
