This course has been designed to give ESL teachers an overview, insight, and resources to help them understand the Cambridge English Assessment Exams and prepare students to take these exams.
This course was created by eTEFL founder, Jody van der Westhuizen, who spent over a decade as an ESL teacher preparing students for these exams and who worked as a Cambridge Exam center supervisor for 5 years. This gave Jody a unique insight into how the exams are structured and what Cambridge English Language Assessment is looking for from the candidates taking these exams.
The course covers the CERF levels from A2 to C2 and includes breakdowns and insights into the Key, Preliminary, First, Advanced, and Proficiency exams.
This course does not cover the Young Learners Exams of Starters, Movers, and Flyers which will need to be covered in a separate course as their contents, structure, and approach are entirely different from the exams offered to schools and adults.
