Do I need to already hold a TEFL certificate?
Yes. The Career Mentorship Upgrade is designed for teachers who already hold a TEFL certification from another provider. If you don't yet have a TEFL certification, our Professional and Advanced Online Teacher Training programmes include the TEFL course as well as career mentorship.
How long do I have to complete my mentorship?
Your live mentorship sessions are scheduled around you once you're ready to begin, with a one-month follow-up after your final session to review your progress.
How quickly can I start teaching?
Many of our graduates secure their first job offer within two weeks of starting the mentorship. Your mentor helps you prepare your CV, profiles and interview technique so you're ready to apply with confidence. Results vary from person to person, but the mentorship is designed to get you working as quickly as possible.
What happens in the mentorship sessions?
Your mentor guides you across four live small-group sessions (4–6 participants): preparation and motivation, your CV and introduction video, interview preparation, and trial lesson training. You'll also complete guided self-study on job applications and freelance profiles, with a one-month follow-up to review your progress.
Is the mentorship completely online?
Yes. All mentorship sessions are delivered online, allowing you to take part from anywhere in the world.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes — two, in fact. Your 30-Hour Business English course is CPD accredited, so on completing it you'll receive a CPD Accredited certificate for that course. You'll also receive a Certificate of Completion for your career mentorship.
Is the Business English course really included?
Yes. This upgrade includes our full 30-Hour Business English course, one of the most in-demand teaching niches online. It's a CPD accredited course and it's yours to keep, with lifetime access.
Can I take part while working full-time?
Absolutely. Because sessions are scheduled around you, many students complete their mentorship alongside full-time employment, university studies or family commitments.
